Mayureshwar Driving School

Mayureshwar Driving School is based in the Harshalaxmi Building at Shop No 5. It is right on Saswad Road in the Hadapsar area. If you know the Bhekrai Nagar neighborhood, we are pretty easy for anyone to find. This part of Pune has grown so much in the last few years. There are way more cars on the road now than ever before. We spend most of our long day sitting in a car, teaching people how to shift gears without stalling the engine. It takes a lot of patience from both the teacher and the student. Some students get the hang of it in just two days, while others might take two weeks to feel comfortable. We really do not mind either way. The shop itself is just a simple, small room where we keep all the records and talk to people about their upcoming classes. We do not have air conditioning in our training cars, so it gets quite hot during the summer months, but that is how you learn the real way to drive. We try to schedule most of our classes early in the morning before the sun gets too strong. My brother and I run the place mostly by ourselves. We have been here for years, watching the new buildings go up all around us. We are not trying to be the biggest school. We just want people to be safe on the roads.
