Mayur Provision Stores

Mayur Provision Stores has been at 337 Rahon Road in Ghorpadi for a while now. The shop is a bit small but we manage to fit a lot of things on the shelves. Most days start early because the milk arrives and people need their tea supplies. We carry the usual things like lentils, rice, different kinds of soaps, and some snacks. It gets quite busy in the evenings when everyone is coming back from work and realizes they forgot to buy salt or oil. The road outside can be quite noisy with the traffic, but inside it’s mostly just the sound of the fan and maybe some conversation with the regulars who live around here. We don’t have any fancy displays or anything. It is just a regular place where you can find what you need for the kitchen. Sometimes the inventory gets a bit messy when a new delivery comes in and we have to stack boxes in the corner. We try to keep things organized so it is easy to find the spices or the washing powder. It’s just me and a couple of others helping out most days. We know most of the faces that come through the door. It’s a simple setup. Nothing too complicated about how we run things here. We just open up, tidy the jars, and wait for the day to get going. The neighborhood has changed a bit over the years but the shop stays pretty much the same.
