Matoshri Aluminium & Glass

It is pretty busy down here on V P Street most days of the week. We are located at 21/24, right across from the Thakkar Apartments in the New Modikhana area. If you know the Camp area, you know how the traffic can get around here. Matoshri Aluminium & Glass is basically just a place where we get our hands dirty with cutting glass and fitting aluminum frames. It isn’t a fancy corporate office with air conditioning in every corner. It’s more of a workshop where you can hear the saws running. We spend a lot of time measuring things out and making sure the glass doesn’t break while we are moving it. The shop has been here for a while, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Sometimes we just sit outside on the stools when it’s quiet and watch the people going to work. We don't really do big advertisements. Most people just walk in because they saw our sign or their neighbor told them we do okay work with windows. The floor is usually covered in little bits of metal shavings by the end of the day, so we have to sweep it up before heading home. It's just how a small business works. We open up early, deal with the deliveries, and try to get the jobs finished before the sun goes down. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy from morning till night.
