Saint Gobain Glass India Ltd.

Down here in Pune, our office for Saint Gobain Glass India Ltd. is tucked into the Vastusamrudhhi Apartment building. We are in A-25, which is over in Bhosale Nagar, specifically the Hadapsar area. It’s more of a residential spot than you’d expect for a glass business, but it stays quiet enough to get the work finished. We handle a lot of the local glass distribution from this little unit. The stairs are a bit steep if you’re carrying things, but mostly we just handle the paper side of things and the phone calls here. Hadapsar has grown a lot lately, so there’s always construction noise nearby. I usually bring my lunch from home and eat it at the desk while checking the morning emails. The glass business can be a bit slow some days and then really hectic the next when a big shipment is coming in. We keep a few folders of invoices and some catalogs for when people want to see different glass types. The windows in the office actually let in a good amount of light, which is nice. It’s just a basic workspace where three or four of us sit. We don't really do much marketing, people just find us through the address. It’s a decent place to work, even if the parking outside is a bit of a nightmare on Mondays. We have a small rug near the door that’s always bunching up when people walk over it.
