Jyoti Glass & Alluminium

If you come down Tate Lane in Karve Nagar, you will find us at Shop No 2. It’s sitting right there in Ashok Nagar. The name on the board is Jyoti Glass & Alluminium. We have been working out of this small space for quite some time now. Usually, there is a lot of glass leaning against the walls, so you have to be careful where you step. It gets a bit cramped when we have a big project going on. We spend our mornings cutting frames and making sure everything fits together. There is always a layer of fine dust on the floor no matter how much we sweep. The neighbors in Ashok Nagar are good people, and we see the same faces every day. Sometimes we grab a snack from the stall nearby when we get a break. It’s not the quietest job with all the cutting and drilling, but we like being busy. The shop is simple, nothing too modern or flashy. We have our tools and our materials, and that is enough for us. Tate Lane can be a bit narrow, so parking is sometimes a headache for the delivery trucks. We just manage it somehow. My hands are usually a bit dirty from the metal, but that's part of the trade. If you’re looking for Shop No 2, we are usually there from morning until the street lights come on. It’s a decent way to spend the day.
