Rohit Aluminium & Glass Center

Down on Chikhali Road, you will find Rohit Aluminium & Glass Center. It’s a pretty straightforward setup we have here. There is always a pile of aluminium scraps in the corner and glass sheets stacked carefully against the racks. Chikhali Road is always humming with the sound of trucks and bikes, so it never feels quiet at the shop. We start our day by moving some of the larger items out of the way so we have room to work. It’s not a large place, so we have to be smart about how we use the space. We do a lot of measuring and cutting, and sometimes the measurements take a while to get just right. We don't use any fancy software for our daily tasks; it’s mostly just notebooks and pencils. The air gets a bit stuffy in the afternoons, so we usually take a break for some cold water or tea. Most of our visitors are people from the local area who are building something or fixing a window. We don't have any big sales pitches. We just show them what we have and tell them how much it costs. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes the glass breaks or the metal gets scratched, and we just have to deal with it and move on. That is just part of the business on Chikhali Road. We hope for good weather every morning.
