Vishal Aluminium & Glass

Vishal Aluminium & Glass is right at the Sonya Maruti Chowk in Mundhwa. It is a very noisy spot because of all the traffic at the intersection. You can hear the horns and the bikes all day long while we are working. We have a lot of aluminium channels and glass panes stacked up against the walls. The shop isn't very large, so we have to be careful how we move around so we don't trip over anything. We do the cutting and the assembly right here on the floor or on the old wooden workbenches. It is a bit messy, with bits of metal and glass dust everywhere, but that is how a workshop should be. We usually have the radio playing in the background to drown out some of the road noise. Working with aluminium means our clothes often get those grey streaks on them, and glass is always something you have to respect so you don't get a cut. We have been at this chowk for a while, and we see the same people passing by every morning. We just take the orders as they come and try to get them finished as quickly as we can. It is a basic way to make a living, but we are good at what we do with our hands. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the work we do for the people around Mundhwa. It keeps us busy and the day goes by fast.
