Malhar Machi Resort

Malhar Machi Resort is out at Post Valne, situated near the Mulshi Dam area. The address also mentions Badekhan Chakla Main Road and Chauta Bazaar in Surat, near the Pink Garden. It is a bit of a journey to get out here, but that is the point of a resort, I suppose. We have a lot of space and try to keep the place tidy for anyone who comes to stay. It is very different from being in the middle of a crowded city. You can actually hear the wind and the birds instead of just cars honking. We have people working here who look after the rooms and the grounds every day. It is not like those big hotel chains where everything looks exactly the same. Things here are a bit more lived-in and natural. We spend a lot of time just maintaining the property because being near the dam means the weather can be a bit tough on the buildings. People come here when they want to see the water or just get away for a weekend. We do not have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on keeping the place open and making sure there is food in the kitchen for our guests. It is a quiet kind of life out here at Valne, away from the main roads and the noise. We just do our best to keep things running.
