Mahesh Motor Driving School

We’re located in Shop No 5 of the Manikmoti Complex, C Building, right on the busy Pune Satara Road in Katraj. Being near KK Travels means there’s always a lot of activity outside our door. Our shop is quite small, but it’s where we coordinate all the driving lessons for the day. We’ve got a couple of chairs for people to sit while they wait their turn, and the walls are covered with those basic diagrams of how an engine works and what the road signs mean. The traffic on Satara Road can be a real headache, especially for beginners who are just learning how to change gears. We spend a lot of time out in the cars, navigating through the bikes and buses that make this part of Pune so lively. It’s a lot of manual work, keeping the cars running and making sure the learner plates are secure. Sometimes the office gets a bit dusty because of the road construction nearby, but we just wipe it down and keep going. We don’t do anything special; we just show up, meet the students, and get out on the road. There’s a certain satisfaction in seeing someone go from being terrified of the clutch to driving smoothly through the Katraj traffic. It’s just a normal, everyday business where we try to do our part in the community without any fuss or complicated rules.
