Madinah Hotel

Madinah Hotel has been sitting at 717 Poona College Road in the Bhawani Peth area of Pune for a long time. Being so near Poona College means we get a lot of students coming in, which keeps the place feeling quite young and active. Bhawani Peth is an old part of the city, and the streets around here can get very narrow and crowded with all sorts of vehicles and pedestrians. The hotel itself is more of a local eatery than a place with rooms, as is common with many "hotels" in this region. We have some simple wooden tables and chairs, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for what we need. It’s a very casual environment where nobody is worried about how they look or how they’re dressed. We start early in the morning to get everything ready for the lunch rush, which is usually the busiest time of our day. You can hear the sounds of the college and the traffic from the road while you’re inside. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals; we just want to make sure the food is ready on time and the customers are satisfied enough to come back tomorrow. It’s a straightforward business run by a small team of us who know the neighborhood well. Bhawani Peth is our home, and we’re just a small part of the life on Poona College Road.
