M D P Hotel

Our place is in Hinjawadi, right across the road from Poona Bakery. If you know this area, you know the traffic can be a nightmare during the morning and evening shifts. We see a lot of the office workers coming through. It is a simple hotel, nothing like those big glass towers you see further down the road. We have been here for a while, and the building shows its age a little bit, but it works for what we need. We don’t have a big team of people in suits. It is just us making sure the rooms are okay and the food is ready for whoever stops by. Being opposite the bakery helps people find us easily. The noise from the street is just part of the background here. We have some regulars who stay with us every time they are in town for work. It is not about being the most luxurious spot in Pune. We just provide a place to stay and eat without making a big deal out of it. The kitchen is small but we keep it busy. We use local stuff we get from the markets nearby. Some days are quieter than others, especially when the IT companies have holidays, but we stay open and keep things moving as best as we can. It is a lot of work to keep a small place running here, but we manage to stay on top of the daily chores.
