Leo Ice Creams

Leo Ice Creams is located right here in Shukrawar Peth at Manjilkar Chawl. We are specifically at house number 936 on Wadgaon Shinde Road, which isn't too far from the Mamledar Kacheri Road intersection. It’s a busy spot, and we stay pretty occupied keeping the freezers running and the stock full every single day. We make ice cream, plain and simple. It’s not one of those huge factory setups you see on TV. It’s more of a local thing where people come when they want something cold to eat. The shop is actually quite small, and sometimes the line gets out the door during the summer heat, but we move as fast as we can to help everyone. We spend a lot of time cleaning up spills and making sure the containers are sealed right so nothing melts. Sometimes the delivery truck is late because of the heavy traffic on the main road, which is frustrating, but we manage. People know us around here. It’s been our daily routine for a long time now. We start early in the morning to get everything ready before the afternoon rush starts. It gets sticky and sweet-smelling inside the shop, which is just part of the job. We don’t have fancy menus with bright photos, just the names of the flavors written up on a board. It works for us and the neighbors. We’ve seen many kids grow up coming here for a scoop after school. It’s just a regular part of the neighborhood life for us.
