Laxmi Bhel House Shreeji Ice Cream

If you go down Alandi Road to Hutatma Chowk, you will find Laxmi Bhel House Shreeji Ice Cream. We are right by Bhosari Tejendra Park Society. It’s a lively spot, especially when the weather is warm. We handle two different things really, the spicy snacks and the cold ice cream. It keeps us on our toes moving from one side to the other. In the evenings, families from the society come down to grab a bite. The kids always head straight for the ice cream while the adults usually want some bhel or other snacks. It can get a bit hectic at Hutatma Chowk because of all the cars and bikes going past on Alandi Road. We don't have much room for people to sit down, so most of our customers just stand around the counter or take their food away. We spend a lot of our time chopping onions and preparing the different chutneys. It is a lot of prep work before we even open for the day. My brother and I run the place ourselves. We don't have any big signs or bright lights, just the name of the shop. It is a small space so we have to stay organized or we would run out of room. We just keep doing what we do every day. Sometimes it gets a bit tiring staying open late, but that is when most people want a snack. It is just a regular neighborhood shop.
