L B Shivram Cycles

If you go to Kasba Peth, you’ll find L B Shivram Cycles at S.No -148 on Shivaji Road. We are right across from the Shaniwar Peth Wada, which is a place almost everyone knows. It’s an old part of the city, and you can feel it when you walk down the street. We deal with cycles, obviously. It’s the kind of shop where you might see tires hanging from the ceiling and tools scattered on the workbench. It isn't one of those modern, shiny bike boutiques. It’s a place for people who actually ride their bikes every day to work or school. We spend a lot of time fixing punctures, tightening chains, and making sure the brakes work like they should. Shivaji Road is always buzzing with people and traffic, so there is never a dull moment. Being opposite the Wada means we see a lot of tourists and locals passing by all day long. Sometimes people just stop in to ask for directions or to pump a little air into their tires. We don’t mind at all. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for quite some time, and it feels like home. The shop is small and it can get a bit oily, but that’s just the nature of working with cycles. We just enjoy the daily routine of the Peth area and seeing the same faces go by. It is a simple life centered around the cycles we fix.
