Kumbhar Motor Driving School

Our school is situated at Number 7/8 in Aundh, Pune. We are quite close to the Pandit Bhimsen Joshi Natyagruha, which is a big landmark around here. We spend our days teaching people how to drive cars. Aundh has grown a lot, so there is plenty of traffic to practice in. We have a small setup where we handle the forms and schedules. The cars are basic but they do the job. We aren't a big franchise, just a local driving school. Most of the time we are out on the road with a student. It’s a lot of repetition, checking the clutch, using the indicators, and looking at the signs. We try to be patient because everyone learns at a different speed. The office is just a place to keep the keys and the logs. We’ve been in this part of Maharashtra for a while. People find us because we’re near the theater. We just keep things moving, one lesson at a time. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s what we know. We see a lot of people come through our doors, all wanting to get their license. We just stick to the basics and get it done. It’s a steady routine for us here in Aundh. We don't have a big team, just a few instructors who know every turn in these streets. It is simple work but we like being part of the community here.
