You can find us tucked away in the Jadhav Building over in Ramwadi. Anyone who knows Wadgaonsheri understands how busy the streets get around here. Traffic on Nagar Road is usually a mess, so getting from one side of Pune to the other takes a lot of patience. Plot Number 5 is a simple office setup where we keep blueprints and take our tea breaks during the day. We have been doing construction in this part of the city for a while now. It stays loud and crowded, with something always happening right outside our window. Fancy mission statements aren't our style. We just show up, look at the plans, and try to stay on track. Some days involve more fighting with traffic than actual building. Once you get to the site and the concrete is pouring, things finally start to take shape. Most of the day involves calling suppliers and making sure the guys have what they need. As a local crew, we are just trying to keep up with Pune’s growth. Errors happen and the weather doesn't always cooperate, but we just fix the problems and move on. It is not glamorous work, but it keeps us busy. We like the work well enough to keep coming back every morning. Building in a city like this means you never have a dull moment.
