Komal Clinic

Budhwar Peth is an old part of Pune. The Kasba Ganpati temple is right there, so there are always people walking around the area. Our clinic is at No. 718. It’s a simple place. We open the doors, sweep the floor, and get things ready for the day. The chowk is always loud with scooters and people talking. You can hear the temple bells sometimes during the morning hours. Being in this part of town means things are a bit cramped but that is just how Budhwar Peth is. We have been here at this spot for a while now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint eventually, but they are okay for now. We keep our files on the shelves and the wooden benches are usually enough for the people who stop by. It isn’t a fancy medical office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a regular room where we do our work. Finding us isn't hard if you know where the Ganpati temple is located. Most people just walk over from the main road. The summers get pretty hot in these narrow streets. We have an old fan that hums all day long. It's a busy neighborhood and we see a lot of the same neighbors every day. It feels like home even when it's chaotic outside. We just focus on what needs to be done each morning. There’s a lot of history in these streets.
