Kgn Solar Systems

Our shop is over in Akurdi, right at Shop No 9 in the Sukhwani Heritage building. It’s near Mhalsakant Chowk, which is always packed with cars and people. We’ve been running Kgn Solar Systems from this little spot for some time now. Mostly, our day is spent talking to people about their electricity bills and how they want to switch to solar. It’s dusty work sometimes, moving heavy frames and panels around the back storage area. We aren't a big corporation with suits and ties; we usually have a bit of grease or dust on our shirts from a job site. The shop is small but it fits what we need for the daily grind. Sometimes the neighbors come in just to chat or ask about a leaky roof or a solar light. We keep a few samples out front so people can see what they’re getting before they buy. It’s not always easy, especially when the monsoon hits and we can't get up on roofs to install anything safely. We just wait it out and catch up on the endless paperwork. People in the neighborhood know us as the solar guys near the chowk. We don’t spend much on advertising because word of mouth usually keeps us busy enough throughout the year. We just show up, do the wiring, and hope the sun stays out. It’s simple work, but it keeps the lights on for us and our customers.
