The shop is right there at 1206B/3 Kamal Kunj on Jangali Maharaj Road. If you know Deccan Gymkhana in Pune, you know it gets quite crowded around here. Being near Sambhaji Park means we see a lot of people walking by in the evenings. We handle both medicines and general items. Sometimes someone needs a bandage and other times they just want a bottle of water. The traffic on JM Road is always noisy, especially during the peak hours. We’ve been at this address for a long time. The shelves are mostly full of different boxes. It can get a bit confusing when many people ask for different things at the same time. We have to keep everything organized, or it becomes a mess. Pune weather is usually nice, but the rains can make the floor muddy when customers walk in. We spend time cleaning the counters quite often. Ketan Medical And General Store isn't a huge place, but we try to keep what is necessary. We don’t do any big advertising. People just know we are here near the park. It’s a busy life behind the counter. We see the same faces every week coming for their monthly supplies. Sometimes we run out of something and have to wait for the delivery guy. It’s just how it is running a shop in a busy area like Deccan. We keep the doors open and wait for whoever needs something from our small collection.
