Kashish Dance Classes

Up here at Kashish Dance Classes in Khadakwasla Andheri West, things are always a bit noisy. You can hear the music from the street before you even get through the door. It’s not a huge studio with mirrors on every single wall, but it’s got enough space for everyone to move around without bumping into each other too much. We get all kinds of people coming in, some who really know how to dance and a lot who have two left feet. It doesn’t really matter though. Most of the time, we’re just trying to get the steps right before the song ends. The floor gets a bit scuffed up from all the shoes, and it can get pretty warm in the afternoons when the sun hits the windows. We usually have a fan going in the corner, but it doesn't do much when thirty people are jumping around. It’s a casual spot, so nobody is wearing fancy outfits or anything. Most people just show up in whatever is comfortable. The neighborhood is fairly quiet except for us. We try to keep the music at a decent level so the neighbors don't complain too much. It’s just a place to come, sweat a little, and maybe learn a few new moves. If you get lost looking for us, just listen for the beat near the main road.
