Kashi General Stores

Kashi General Stores is inside the Abc Nirman Complex at Shop Number 26. We are directly in front of the Mcdonalds in Thergaon, which is how most people realize where we are. It’s a busy little spot, especially in the evenings when families come out to eat. Our shop is packed from floor to ceiling with all the usual things you’d expect to find in a general store. We have to use a small wooden stool to reach the stuff on the top shelves. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the boxes of snacks and household items. We spend a lot of time restocking the shelves because things tend to sell out quickly being in such a popular complex. The floor is tiled but it gets dirty fast with all the people walking in from the street. We usually have a small TV on in the background to catch the news during the quiet hours in the afternoon. It gets quite loud with the music from the nearby shops and the sound of cars in the parking lot. We don't really do any advertising; the location does most of the work for us. We just try to make sure we don't run out of the things people need the most. It’s a long day, often staying open until late at night, but that’s the life of a shopkeeper. We are just here every day, making sure the shop is ready for whoever walks through the door next.
