You can find us in Chinchwad, right in the Sarafan Bazar area. Driving schools are everywhere, but we have been in this market for a long time. We have a small fleet of cars that have seen better days, but they are perfect for learning because they are sturdy. The engines have that specific sound when a student is struggling with the clutch. We spend our days sitting in the passenger seat, keeping our foot near the extra brake just in case. Chinchwad roads can be very narrow and busy, which is actually good for new drivers because if they can drive here, they can drive anywhere. We don't have a big office; it is mostly just a place to keep the keys and the logbooks. People come in nervous, and we try to get them comfortable with the steering wheel and the mirrors. It is a lot of repetitive work, telling someone to check their shoulder or shift to second gear over and over again. By the end of the day, our legs are tired from all the walking and sitting. We see people from all walks of life who just want their license. There is no polish to what we do. It is just about getting out on the road and learning the rules by actually doing it. We take it one turn at a time until the learner gets it right.
