Kanhaiya The Dairy

Kanhaiya The Dairy has been operating in Narayan Peth for quite a long time now. We are tucked away on Madarsab Lane, specifically at Nalvanbadi AS Char Street, number Cr 409/B. It is one of those narrow, old streets where everyone knows their neighbor. We deal with milk, curd, and all the usual dairy items that families need for their daily cooking. In the mornings, it gets very busy because that is when everyone wants their fresh supply for the day. We get the milk in very early and start getting it ready for our customers. It is a simple, no-frills shop. We have the big refrigerators and the metal counters where people stand and talk while they wait. We are not some big national brand with fancy plastic packaging. We just serve the people living in this local neighborhood. Sometimes the lane gets blocked by a delivery van or a scooter, and we have to move things around quickly to keep the path clear. It is a lot of hard work keeping everything cold and fresh, especially when the weather gets hot outside. My family has been doing this kind of work for a long time. We do not even have a big sign out front, just the name of the dairy. People find us because they live nearby or they heard about us from a friend. It is a quiet life but it keeps us very busy until we close.
