Kamal Casting

Kamal Casting is out at W 263 Block in the Bhosari MIDC area. We have been here for quite some time now. If you know this part of town, it is very industrial and always humming with the sound of trucks and heavy machinery. Our building isn't anything special to look at, just a practical workspace where we do the actual casting work. Most of us have been working with metal for a lot of years, so we understand the process better than most. Dealing with molds and molten metal is hot and messy work, but it's what we do. We usually start our shifts early in the morning when the air hasn't heated up yet. Once the furnaces are on, the whole place gets quite warm, and that stays that way until we close up. We don't have fancy meetings or use corporate jargon to talk about our day. It is mostly about making sure the pours are clean and the finished parts look right. Sometimes machines break or shipments get delayed, and we just handle it as it comes without complaining much. We’ve seen the MIDC change quite a bit over the years, with new companies moving in and old ones leaving. We like it here in Bhosari because there’s always a tea stall nearby and everyone understands what it means to put in a hard day's work. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. No fuss.
