Kalika Interior

Kalika Interior is located at A-202 in Kashid Nagar, which is part of Pimpale Gurav. This isn't a showroom with bright lights and fancy displays. It's more of a workspace where we plan out designs and figure out how things are going to fit together. We spend a lot of time looking at floor plans and samples of wood or fabric. The office is in a residential area, so it feels a bit more relaxed than being in a commercial park. You might hear the usual sounds of the neighborhood while we work. We have catalogs scattered around and plenty of measuring tapes that always seem to go missing when you need them. It's a hands-on kind of job. We are often out at different sites, so the office can be empty half the time. When we are here, we are usually sketching ideas or talking to vendors on the phone. Pimpale Gurav is a nice place to be based. It's got everything we need close by. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just take a space and try to make it work better for the people living there. It involves a lot of math and sometimes a bit of arguing over which color looks better under different lights. We just keep at it until the job feels right. It’s hard work, and our hands usually have some dust or ink on them by the end of the day.
