Kalika Dairy Farm & Sweets

We are located over at SNS Plaza, 151/21/2 in the Hadapsar area. Kalika Dairy Farm & Sweets is one of those places that’s just part of the daily routine for people living around here. Every day, the milk arrives early, and that’s when the work starts. We have to get everything organized before the plaza gets busy. It’s a lot of lifting heavy cans and making sure the refrigerators are running right. When people come in, they’re usually in a hurry to get what they need and get back home or to work. We try to keep the counters clear and the service moving along. The shop itself isn't very large, so we have to use the space we have as best as we can. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, especially with the sun hitting the plaza, but we just keep at it. Working with dairy and sweets means you have to be very careful about keeping everything fresh and clean. It’s a lot of repetitive tasks, like wiping down the glass cases or stacking containers, but it’s what keeps the place running. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone telling us how to look. It’s just us, the owners and a couple of helpers, doing the work that needs to be done. We’ve been here in Hadapsar for a bit now, and we just like being part of the local scene.
