Jhamtani Group

Our office for Jhamtani Group is located right across from the D-ward office. We’re on the Kalewadi Aundh Link Road in the Rahatni area of Pune. It’s a spot that has changed a lot since we first moved here. There used to be much more open space, but now it’s quite built up. We spend our days dealing with various construction and development matters. The office is usually humming with the sound of phones and people discussing site plans. We have a lot of maps and charts pinned to the walls. It’s not the most modern-looking place, but it works for what we do. We drink a lot of tea while we go over the numbers. Being near the Aundh Link Road makes it easy for us to get out to different project sites quickly. We know the local shopkeepers and the guys at the ward office quite well. It’s a community-based way of doing business. We don't use much jargon when we talk to clients. We just explain what can be done and how long it’ll take. Sometimes things get delayed because of the rain or material shortages, and we just have to deal with it. We’ve been part of the Pune landscape for a while now. Most days are just about managing the details and making sure the crews have what they need.
