Kailas Giri Motor Driving School

Kailas Giri Motor Driving School is located in the Uttam Nagar area, right within the GIDC Industrial Estate in Makarpura, Vadodara. Being in an industrial estate means there are always big trucks and tankers moving around, so it is a very busy environment for a driving school. We started this place because there were so many workers in the GIDC who needed to learn how to drive for their jobs. The air is always a bit heavy with the smell of the nearby factories and the sound of machinery is constant in the background. Our office is a simple room with a couple of old posters on the walls and a heavy metal desk. We spend a lot of time teaching people how to navigate around the large vehicles that park along the roads here. It is not the easiest place to learn, but it definitely makes you a better driver in the long run. We have a few older cars that we use for the lessons and we try to keep them clean, though the dust from the industrial area makes that difficult. Most of our students come in during their lunch breaks or after their shifts are over. We do not have any high-tech equipment, just the cars and our own experience from years of driving on these same roads. We are just local people helping other local people get their papers in order.
