Down in Erandwane, specifically around Vakil Nagar, you’ll find our place, Kadam Dairy Equipments. We deal with machines and stuff used in the dairy industry. It’s a specialized kind of work, and we’ve been at it for some years now. The workshop isn't always the cleanest place because we are always working with metal and parts. It gets noisy too. My staff and I spend most of our time looking at designs or fixing something that stopped working for a customer. We aren't really the type of people to sit behind desks all day. If someone needs a part for their milk processing, they usually just drop by the office. Erandwane is a good place to be, though parking can be a real headache sometimes. We just try to make equipment that actually lasts and doesn't break down the first time it’s used. It’s pretty straightforward. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. Just us and the machines. Sometimes we get orders from far away, and other times it's just someone from the next street over. We’ve seen a lot of changes in how dairy is handled over the years, and we just try to keep up with the basic needs. It's a steady life and we like the people we meet. It’s a lot of grease and hard work, but it's what we know how to do for a living.
