Our shop is located at 188 Budhwar Peth, which stays pretty crowded most days of the week. We are not too far from Flora Fountain and Veer Nariman Road. If you are looking for us, we are right near Datta Mandit. The building is one of those older ones that has seen a lot of history. Inside, there is the smell of metal and oil, which I guess is what you expect from an engineering place. We have been working out of this space for quite a while now. The floors are a bit uneven and the lighting is okay, but it gets the job done. We spend a lot of time looking at parts and figuring out how to fix things that have stopped working. It is dusty work. We don't have a big front office or a receptionist. Usually, whoever is free just answers the door or the phone. Sometimes the street outside is so loud with horns that we have to shout a little bit to be heard. Most of our tools have been with us for years. They are reliable, even if they look a bit worn out around the edges. We get all sorts of people walking in from the Peth area. We just take each job as it comes and try to get it out the door by the time we promised. It’s a simple way of running things without much fuss.
