Jyoti Provision Store

I’ve been running Jyoti Provision Store in Bhosarigoan 692 for quite a long time now. It’s a basic place. We have flour, oil, sugar, and the things most families need for their kitchens. I grew up in this neighborhood. My house is just a few streets away. I open up around eight in the morning. The first thing I do is sweep the front step. It gets dusty because of the road construction nearby. I don’t have a big sign, just the name painted above the door. Most of my customers are my neighbors. They come in for a chat as much as they do for shopping. I don't like it when things get too crowded. It gets hot inside because there isn't much ventilation. I have a small radio that I listen to while I wait for customers. It keeps me company. I try to stock brands that people actually like, not just the cheap stuff. Sometimes I run out of change, and I have to ask people to pay me next time. That’s just how it works here. Trust is important in a place like Bhosarigoan. I’m not looking to expand or anything. This is enough for me. My kids come by after school and help me bag things up. It's a quiet life and I like it. People know they can find me here every single day except Sundays.
