Shirur is a bit away from the main Pune city, and that is where we do most of our work. Our office is near the old toll naka at Gat No. 1766/1. It’s a pretty basic setup. We spend a lot of time in Ranjangaon Ganpati too, checking on sites and making sure the supplies arrived on time. The area around here is developing fast, so there is always some dust in the air and trucks moving back and forth. We aren’t big on fancy meetings. Most of our talking happens over a quick cup of tea near the site entrance. We have a small team of people who know their way around a construction site. It is honest work, even if it gets exhausting when the sun is beating down on the concrete. We deal with the local suppliers for most things because it is easier that way. Sometimes the plans change at the last minute and we have to scramble to fix things, but that is just how construction goes. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just show up, look at the drawings, and try to make sure the building stands up straight. It is a quiet life out here in Shirur, just keeping busy with one project after another. Most days we are just glad to get the work finished before the rain starts or the sun goes down.
