Jayplastic Products Pvt.Ltd. is located in 203 Legacy Apts., which is right above the Lifeline Hospital. It’s a bit of a strange spot for a business, being in an apartment building, but it works fine for what we do. We don't have a giant factory floor right here in this unit; this is more where we handle the customer orders and the paperwork side of things. There are samples of plastic parts and containers all over the place, on every shelf and even on the floor. Sometimes it feels more like a crowded storage unit than a real office. We share the elevator with people going to the hospital or residents living in the building, so it can be slow and a bit awkward with our boxes. We’re just a small group of people keeping things running day to day. Usually, one of us is on the phone with a supplier while someone else is trying to organize the shipping manifests for the next day. It’s not a very quiet place because of the constant street noise and the hospital sirens. We don't have a fancy dress code; we just wear whatever is comfortable. Sometimes we forget to tidy up the small kitchen area, so there are usually a few tea mugs sitting around. We just focus on getting the plastic products to the people who ordered them. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication. We’ve been here long enough that the security guards know us by name. It’s just our little workspace.
