Jamsuns Exports

Jamsuns Exports is situated at C/8, Chintamani Nagar, in the Anand Park area of Aundh. Aundh is a pretty nice part of Pune, and our office is in a quiet corner of the housing society. It doesn't feel like a typical export house. It’s more like a home that turned into a workspace over time. We have a couple of rooms filled with computers and samples of the things we send out. Since we deal with exports, we are often on the phone at odd hours because of the time differences. But during the day, it’s just us sitting here, typing emails and checking on shipping schedules. The trees outside the window make it a calm place to work. We don't have a big staff, just a handful of us who know how everything works. We usually have a lot of cardboard boxes lying around because we are always checking samples. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is. We don't go in for big corporate meetings. We just talk across the desks when something needs to be decided. Lunch is usually a group affair where we talk about everything except work. It’s a comfortable way to run a business. We like being in this part of town because it’s easy for us to get around. It’s just a normal office doing its thing. We’ve been here for several years now and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit around us.
