J. R. Engineers

If you are looking for J. R. Engineers, you have to go to Office No. 19/11 in the West Wing of Pratik Nagar. We are based in Yerwada. It’s a bit of a maze in this building sometimes, but once you find the West Wing, we are right there. We do engineering work, mostly planning and some small-scale fabrication. It’s a quiet office for the most part, except for when the phone starts ringing off the hook. We have been in Yerwada for quite a while now. The space isn't huge, but it fits our desks and the drawing boards we still use for some things. I think people like that we are easy to talk to. We don't use a lot of big words or try to act like we know more than we do. If a job is too big for us, we just say so. If we can do it, we get to work. I’ve spent many nights sitting at my desk under the fluorescent lights trying to get a project finished. Pratik Nagar is a lively area, and there's always something going on outside our windows. We see the same people walking by every day. It feels like a community. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. Most of our clients are just people who have worked with us before and keep coming back because we treat them okay. It’s a simple way to run things.
