You can find us at B 13 in the H Block of MIDC, Pimpri. Being in an industrial area like MIDC means we are surrounded by other workshops and factories. It’s a noisy place with the sound of metal and machines going all day long. We do engineering work, specifically focusing on diamond tools and related stuff. Our workshop is full of heavy equipment and the smell of oil and cut metal. It’s not the cleanest environment, but that’s the nature of the job. We wear work clothes that usually end up with some grease on them by noon. Most of our days are spent at the benches or monitoring the machines. We don’t really have a front desk or anyone to greet you. Usually, you just walk in and find one of us working. Pimpri is a long commute for some of the guys, but this is where the industry is. We take our breaks together and talk about whatever is going on in the news. It’s a practical life. We don’t have any fancy brochures. People come to us because they know we are here in H Block and we’ve been doing this for a while. The lighting inside could be better, and it gets pretty loud when all the machines are running at once, but we are used to it. It’s just how engineering work is done in a place like this.
