J Dance Academy

J Dance Academy is located right near the New Cloth Market on Pune Satara Road. It’s a busy area, so there’s always noise from the traffic outside. Inside, we’ve got some mirrors on the walls and a floor that’s seen a lot of use over the years. We didn't want a place that felt too stiff or professional. It’s just a spot for people to come and move around. We teach a variety of styles, and the classes can get pretty energetic. Sometimes the music is too loud and the floor gets a bit dusty by the end of the night. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a bunch of staff in uniforms. It's usually just the instructors and the students showing up for their time. Some people come here to get better at dancing, while others just want to get out of the house for an hour. We don’t push anyone too hard; it’s more about the practice itself. The building is older, but it serves us well for what we do. You can find us easily if you know the cloth market area. We’ve been here for a while and have seen many different faces come through. It’s a simple, honest space for dancing. There’s no polished marketing here, just a lot of sweat and music every single day.
