Hotel Veg Treat

Hotel Veg Treat is tucked away in Dhanakawadi, specifically in the Maneknagar Society Oasis Complex Lane on Mahalakshmi Five Road. It’s a bit of a long address, but once you find the lane, we’re right there. We spend most of our time in the kitchen or out front clearing tables. It’s a vegetarian place, and we keep things pretty straightforward. We don’t have any fancy waiters in uniforms; it’s just us in our regular clothes making sure everyone gets their food on time. The Mahalakshmi Five Road area can get quite crowded, especially in the evenings when everyone is out doing their shopping. We get a mix of families from the society and people just passing through the complex. The kitchen is always noisy with the sound of pans and the exhaust fan running. We don’t really have a big menu, just the stuff we know how to make well. Sometimes the orders get a bit mixed up when it’s really busy, but we fix it as fast as we can. Running a place like this means you never really have a day off. Sometimes we have to change the light bulbs or fix a leaky faucet in the back. There is always a floor to mop or a vegetable delivery to sort out. We aren't trying to be the most famous place in town. We just want to serve a decent meal.
