Hotel The Senator

We spend most of our time here at the flat in Dhan Laxmi Park. It is right near the Kothrud Depot in Pune, so there is always some noise from the buses coming and going. S.D. Thakar handles a lot of the day to day stuff. It isn't a fancy place with a big glass lobby or anything like that. We just have our rooms and we try to keep things tidy for whoever shows up. Sometimes it gets really busy during the wedding season because people need a spot to stay nearby. The building is B-5 and we are in flat twenty-six. You can see the depot from just down the road. It’s a bit of a climb if you have heavy bags but we help out when we can. Pune has changed a lot lately with all the traffic, but this little corner near the depot stays pretty much the same. Most people who stay with us are just passing through or visiting family in the area. We don’t have a big team of workers. It is mostly just a couple of us making sure the sheets are clean and the water is running. We’ve been at this address for a while now. It’s a simple setup. We drink a lot of tea while waiting for guests to check in. It’s just how things go here at Hotel The Senator. Nothing too complicated, just a place to sleep and rest while you are in the city.
