Hotel Swaraj

You can find Hotel Swaraj over at 200 B, Bajirao Road in the Shukrawar Peth area of Pune. We are tucked in near the chinchechi talim and right opposite the bafana petrol pump. It is a very old part of the city. If you live in Pune, you know how busy Bajirao Road can get during the day. There is a lot of history in these streets and we are right in the middle of it. We have been here for a good amount of time, just doing our thing. The petrol pump across the way is a constant hive of activity with bikes and cars coming in and out all the time. It gets a bit dusty and loud but that is just Shukrawar Peth for you. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us here working. Most people know us because they pass by on their way to work or when they are out in the market. We keep our doors open and just handle whatever the day brings. The 411002 area is quite traditional in its own way. We try to keep the place decent and straightforward. There are no fancy decorations or corporate stuff going on. It’s just a building on a busy road where we spend our days. We see a lot of regulars who have been coming to this part of Pune for years and years. It feels like home to us.
