Hotel Shipra Restaurant & Bar is down in Chinchwad G, and it’s the kind of place where the lights are kept a bit low. We get a lot of people coming in after they finish their shifts at the factories nearby. The air usually has a bit of a heavy smell from the kitchen and the drinks, but that’s just how bars are. I spend my time mostly behind the counter or checking on the tables in the back. Chinchwad is a busy industrial hub, so the evenings are always our most active time. The chairs are heavy wood and the floor is dark stone, which makes it easier to keep clean when things get messy. We have a small television in the corner that is usually tuned to the news or a game, but most people just come to talk to their friends. It’s not a quiet place, especially on the weekends when the music is playing and everyone is talking over each other. The kitchen staff stays busy with the snacks, and I can hear the shouting from the back when an order is ready. We don’t have any fancy cocktails or a polished look, just the basic stuff that people want. Sometimes the fridge makes a loud humming noise, but nobody really seems to mind it much. We’ve been here in Chinchwad G for years, and it's just a place for people to relax for a bit.
