Hotel Sayee Biryani

Our place, Hotel Sayee Biryani, is situated at Satara Road 14th Main Road B Block 2nd stage Rajajinagar. It’s a bit of a long address but we are easy to find once you are in the area. We focus on cooking biryani in large quantities. The kitchen is always hot because the fires are going for hours. We start prepping the meat and the rice early so everything is ready for the lunch crowd. The dining area is simple with basic tables and chairs that we wipe down constantly. We don't have air conditioning or fancy decorations on the walls. It is just a place where people come to eat and then go about their day. Most of our customers are locals from Rajajinagar or people working nearby. On weekends, we often run out of food earlier than expected. The pots we use are quite heavy, and carrying them around is hard work. We have a small staff helping with the serving and the cleaning up. The street outside can get very congested, especially near the 14th Main Road. We don't spend much time on anything other than the cooking and the cleaning. It’s a busy life here, and there is always something to do, whether it’s chopping onions or washing the big handis. We just want to get the food out while it is still steaming hot for whoever comes through the door. It gets very busy around noon and stays that way. We are just happy when the pots are empty at night.
