Hotel Sai Leela

Hotel Sai Leela has been a fixture on Paud Road in Kothrud for a long time. It’s not a hotel where you stay the night, but more of a place where you come to eat when you’re tired of cooking at home. The space is a bit cramped, especially on weekends when families come out for dinner. We try to keep things organized, but it can get a bit messy when it's raining outside and everyone is trying to get in at once. The kitchen is small, so we have to be very efficient with how we work. We use simple ingredients that we buy from the vendors just down the street. Nothing we make is overly complicated. We just stick to the recipes we’ve been using for years. Sometimes the service is a bit slow because we only have a few waiters, but they work hard. Kothrud is a nice area, and we’ve made a lot of friends among the people who live nearby. We don't have any big plans to expand or move. We like being on Paud Road where everything is happening. It’s a lot of hard work, standing on our feet all day, but it’s what we know how to do. We just hope that when you leave, you feel like you had a decent meal for a fair price. That's really all there is to it. We keep the doors open and the stove hot.
