Hotel Rohit Sai Aangan

Being located on New Kosad Road means there is always something going on outside. Pimpri Colony is a lively area, and our hotel is right in the middle of that energy. It’s a plain building, nothing that really stands out from the street, but it’s home to us. We spend most of our time at the front desk or checking the rooms. It’s a lot of laundry and making sure the blankets are folded right. Some days are quiet and we just sit and watch the television in the lobby. Other days, every room is full and we’re running up and down the stairs. The elevator makes a specific clicking sound when it stops on the second floor. We’ve thought about fixing it, but it’s just one of those things you get used to. Guests come from all over, some for work and some just passing through. We try to keep things simple for them. No complicated forms or long waits. The water pressure can be a bit moody in the mornings, so we have to keep an eye on the tanks. It’s a lot of manual work, honestly. We don’t have a big corporate office telling us what to do. We just figure it out as we go. It’s a local business and we’ve been here long enough that the neighbors all know us. It’s just life on the New Kosad Road.
