Hotel Rasoi Se takes up Shops No 1, 2, and 3 in the City Pride Building over in Nigdi. It’s a decent-sized space since we have three units joined together, but it still feels crowded during the lunch and dinner hours. We’ve been in Nigdi for a while now, and the City Pride Building is a well-known landmark for people around here. The kitchen is always on the go, with pots bubbling and pans clattering throughout the day. We don't have any of those fancy decorations you see in the big city restaurants. Our chairs and tables are simple, and we focus more on what’s happening in the kitchen than the decor. Sometimes the service is a bit slow when every table is full, but we do what we can. The staff here has been with us for a long time, so we’re like a small family, even if we get on each other's nerves sometimes. We don't put out ads in the papers or anything. People usually just wander in because they’re in the building or they live in the neighborhood. It’s a lot of work keeping three shops running as one, and there’s always something that needs fixing, whether it’s a leaky tap or a flickering light. But we’re here every day, serving whoever walks through the door in Nigdi. It's just a regular place to eat. We keep things simple for everyone who comes.
