Hotel Mourya Palace

Hotel Mourya Palace is situated in the Amar Samrudhi Building along the Pune Solapur Road in Hadapsar. It’s a big, dusty road with lots of trucks and buses passing by at all hours. We’ve been operating out of this building for some time now. It’s not one of those glass buildings you see in the city center; it’s more practical. Most of the people who come here are just looking for a place to rest because they’re traveling through Hadapsar or have work nearby. The rooms are basic, and we spend a lot of time just keeping up with the cleaning and the maintenance. The Amar Samrudhi Building is easy to spot if you’re driving down the main highway. My uncle started this place, and now a few of us manage the front desk and the rooms. It’s a lot of work dealing with different people every day, and sometimes the plumbing or the fans act up, but we fix things as they happen. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. We just have our sign out on the Pune Solapur Road. The noise from the traffic never really stops, but inside, we try to keep it quiet enough for a decent night's sleep. It’s just a regular hotel for regular people, nothing more than that. We’re usually around if someone needs help with their bags or directions.
