Hotel Ketan

We’ve been here at 917 / 19A on Fergusson College Road for quite a long time now. People around Shivajinagar know where we are because of the busy street outside. It gets pretty loud sometimes with all the traffic and students walking to the college, but that is just how it is in this part of Pune. The building is older, and we spend a lot of our mornings making sure the lobby is swept and the desk is ready for whoever shows up. We don't have a fancy website or a big team of people doing PR. It is just a few of us here. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other days it is quiet. Most people who stay with us are just looking for a place to sleep while they do their business or visit the nearby shops. We try to keep things simple. The rooms are what they are, and we try our hardest to keep the linens clean and the water running. Being in the 411004 area code means everything is close by, so guests usually just drop their bags and head out. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. New shops open and old ones close, but we’re still right here on the corner. It's a lot of work running a place like this, especially when something needs fixing. We have a small parking area that is always a bit of a squeeze too.
