Hotel Kalasagar

Our hotel is tucked away in the Kasarwadi area, specifically at Bombay Mutual Terrace. If you know this part of the city, you know it’s quite industrial and busy with a lot of office work going on. We started Hotel Kalasagar to give people a place to stay that isn't too far from the main road but still feels separate from the noise. It’s a bit of an older building, and we’ve had to do some repairs here and there over the months. Running a hotel in an area like P/4 Kasarwadi means we get a lot of workers and people in town for short business trips. We don't have a big lobby or fancy decorations. It is mostly just clean hallways and rooms that do the job. My brother and I, along with a few helpers, manage the daily tasks. We do the laundry, check the plumbing, and make sure the front desk is covered. It’s a lot of routine work, but it keeps us busy. Sometimes it gets lonely during the slow season, but usually, there’s someone coming through. We don't promise anything special, just a room and a key. We try to be helpful if someone asks for directions to the nearby train station or a good tea stall. It’s just a normal business run by normal people who live in the neighborhood and know how things work around here. We just take it day by day.
