Hotel Gangotri

We've been here in Uruli Devachi for a while now. Most people know the Gopinath Vibhag area, and we are right there on the Magannagar Main road. It's a busy spot but we try to keep things steady. Hotel Gangotri isn't fancy. It's just a place where you can sit down. My uncle started it because he wanted a spot for people passing through the main road to get a meal that tasted like home. We wake up early to get things ready. Sometimes the chairs wobble a bit, but we fix them when we can. The kitchen gets hot in the afternoons, especially when the stove is going full blast. We mostly see the same faces every day, workers from nearby and families living in the neighborhood. It gets loud when the lunch rush starts. We don't have a big menu. Just stuff we know how to make well. There's no fancy lighting or anything like that. Just some tube lights and old fans. We keep it clean enough. If you’re walking down Magannagar Main, you’ll see our sign. It's a bit faded from the sun. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, just serving food and making sure people have a place to sit for a bit. Sometimes we run out of things by evening. That's just how it goes here. We like being part of the local scene. It's home for us.
