Hotel Bhauchi Missal

Starting a food place in Warje was something we thought about for a long time. We are right here at Shop No 1 in the Pardeshi Complex near the Warje Jakat Naka. It's a busy spot but we like it that way. We mostly do missal because that is what people around here want when they are hungry in the morning or afternoon. The kitchen is small but we keep it moving. Sometimes the spice levels vary a bit depending on the batch of chillies we got that week, but that is just how it goes with real cooking. We don't have fancy chairs or anything like that. It is just a place to sit down, eat your rassa and pav, and get on with your day. The staff is just a few of us who know the regulars by now. We see the same faces every morning from the neighborhood. It gets a bit crowded on weekends and you might have to wait a couple of minutes for a stool. We don't mind if you stay and talk for a bit, but usually, people just eat and go. The recipe isn't some big secret, it’s just how we learned to make it at home. We try to keep the floors clean and the water cold. That is about it really. If you are passing by the Jakat Naka and need something spicy to eat, you can find us easily. We have been here for a while now.
